Read MoreMynhardt Guest Manor (MGM in short) is situated on the dune in Wilderness, just off the N2 between George and Knysna. You can expect stylish, modern, luxurous, elegance in the 7 spacious rooms which are also well equipped with modern appliances, comfortable bathrooms with rain showers and delightful extra length King size beds.
Six of the bedrooms have private balconies with full sea view, where the 7th bedroom is a luxury suite with a sea view and full view of the Wilderness hills and the balmy sun on the Northern side. You will be able to purchase some of the delightful South African wines from the honesty bar and enjoy them in your room or on the lounges on the patio overlooking the ocean.
You will be able to enjoy breakfast in the comfort of a modern, sea-facing dining room and virtually be on the beach as you only need to take the boardwalk to the 60 odd steps to be on the beach. You may enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the ocean and may even be treated by the playful dolphins passing in the waves.
Our sea-facing splash pool is the ideal place to cool off after a morning on the beach or on the sea-facing sundeck. You may also want to relax on the sun-loungers on the balmy rooftop sundeck and the splash pool on the northern side should you wish to avoid the cool breeze from the sea.
For golfers, your Wilderness holiday may provide you with a central location close to many of the famous golf courses in the Garden Route.
MGM offers secure on-site parking inside the premises of the guest house.
Our aim is to excite you with a unique experience of superb service amid the uncommercialized beauty of nature. You will be spoilt for choice between the lovely restaurants in the Milkwood village which is within walking distance.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
We are situated directly on the Wilderness beach between Knysna and George in the Garden Route, Western Cape. This is one of the most story-like places, with a spectacular view on the blue flag white beaches, subtropical forests, the majestic Outeniqua coastal mountain range and the beautiful Wilderness hills. This is equally attractive for a well-deserved, peaceful retreat as it is for the adrenalin junky and the curious adventurer. Nature lovers and connoisseurs are equally catered for in this unique setting. You may walk in paradise on one of the walking trails or relax on the balcony of your seafacing bedroom overlooking the vastness of the ocean and savouring a glass of excellent South African wine.
